KKR started well, with Nitish Rana and Shubman Gill putting up a 34-run partnership for the first wicket. However, RCB's bowlers soon took control of the match, with Kyle Jamieson and Harshal Patel picking up three wickets each. KKR managed to score 154 runs for the loss of six wickets in their 20 overs.

RCB's chase got off to a shaky start, with opener Devdutt Padikkal getting out for a duck. However, captain Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar steadied the ship, putting up a 76-run partnership for the second wicket. Kohli scored 72 runs off 47 balls, while Patidar scored 31 runs off 22 balls.

 RCB eventually won the match with six balls to spare, thanks to a quickfire 9-ball 22 by Glenn Maxwell.
